We know what you're thinking. Young Farmers - full of sad farmers who meet up to natter about the latest manure consistency. But, honestly, you couldn't be more wrong! OK, so we're not saying none of our members are farmers, but you don't have to be, in fact most of us had never even been on a farm in our lives. We are called YFC because that is who we were originally aimed at, but now anyone can join, from all walks of life!

Life in YFC is always fun – it doesn’t matter if you are just interested in the social side of club life or want to get involved in community and environmental issues – it’s all about meeting new friends and enjoying yourself.

There’s no set agenda, activities vary from club to club, but we can guarantee that you’ll have the chance to do all the things you want to do through the national activities programme. Some clubs focus more on the social side of life, others have a strong community focus. It’s up to each club’s members to decide what they are all about and what they enjoy doing.

So if you are aged 10-30, looking for a fun bunch of people and up for a laugh, look no further.

The variety of things you can get involved in is huge. It may be pub quizzes, ten pin bowling, tug of war, casino nights, discos, dances, pub crawls, team building events, international travel (fancy a trip to New Zealand? Our international exchange programme can take you anywhere you want to go), community projects, fundraising events... need we go on?

If you are a past member, over 26 and wish to renew or retain your connection with Wymondham YFC, you are invited to renew your membership as an Associate Member.
